2020 TASTING NOTES
The beautiful aromas bring a complex nose with hints of pepper, herbs, and a touch of blackberry. Neutral Oak for 21 months allowed the fruit of the vineyard and the great growing season to speak for itself. Dark cherry notes with a dash of white pepper create a masterpiece of cool-climate Syrah with a vibrant deep magenta color.

VINTAGE NOTES
The 2020 Sta. Rita Hills growing season is referred to by many as a near-perfect growing season. A relatively dry and mild winter led to a warmer-than-average summer. Yields were higher across the board this year, with Syrah showing a high juice-to-skin ratio. The resulting wines are smooth and long-lasting. The farming of these vines is done organically and allows the fruit to be intense, vibrant, and beautiful.
