The beginning

From a ton of Syrah to a room full of wine.

Derek completed a five-class winemaker certification process, studied viticulture at UC Davis, and grew grapes in his backyard. When a friend offered grapes from a Santa Barbara County vineyard in 2018, Derek and Stephenie got up at 4 am to pick up a ton of Syrah.

Somewhere along California's 101, Overshare was born. Soon their living room held 30 cases of 2018 Syrah. They knew it was time to share the wine with others.
